I have grown to realise that there is a deeper meaning behind why i create and that is because I aim to provoke. It no longer became something direct, but rather introspective. I find that looking at things from a deeper end allowed me to find myself and reflect. I am not only speaking for myself but also for those who are too afraid to voice out their thoughts, which is why I create.
I have eventually come to my senses that I can make things that are not conventional, which is why i love the world of the creative. I get to explore and expand my ideas to various surreal ways.
What do you think of when I mention fish skin? Irvins? That too but, in year 1, I discovered something when I was doing a project; making wallets.
I used it in an unconventional way, which is to make use of it as leather. I used it as a substitute for other animal leather while also being sustainable yet elegant.

This not only talks about the expectations I require to uphold, but also what it is like to be viewed as a woman from society.
This is my final piece for my N level artwork, with preparation boards alongside it. The main idea of this was to express the feeling of being trapped and a form of obsession with another person.
A state of limerence
